Abstract
In the context of teaching literature, creative writing is prominent in the trends. Teaching creative poetry writing at the Department of Language Education, Indonesia and Literature, Education Faculty of University of Nusantara PGRI Kediri is specifically designed to improve knowledge of the graduate with extensive program. Review of literature indicates that creative poetry writing prohibits excellent education for four reasons. Among other things, poetry creative writing enables students to master language skills; improves knowledge on culture; develops quality of discovery, sense, and good will; and improve character buildings. To achieve the objectives, a so called "Re-Creating Based Poetry Writing" is reviewed in this article.
