Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi peneliti yang mengamati pembelajaran berlaku secara umum sekarang monoton, pasif, dan membosankan sehingga mengakibatkan beajar tidak menyenangkan. Dengan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini mengembangkan game edukasi dengan menerapkan algoritma A-Star Pathfinding dan Line of Sight agar game menjadi lebih interaktif. Dalam pengembangan game edukasi ini menggunakan metode waterfall pengembangan dengan pendekatan sistematik dan berurutan. serta pengujian game edukasi menggunakan alpha testing memakai black-box dan beta testing pengujian yang dilakukan secara langsung ke pelajar SMK 4 PGRI Kediri dengan kuesioner kelayakan game edukasi yang dikembangkan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian bahwa peneliti berhasil mengembangkan game edukasi dengan algortma A-Star Pathfinding dan Line of Sight berbasis android online untuk membantu belajar pelajar agar tidak merasa bosan dan jenuh.
