Abstract

Proses pencucian peralatan makan pada usaha katering dan rumah makan umumnya masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu, tenaga, dan konsumsi air yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan menguji rangka mesin pencuci piring otomatis berkapasitas 50 piring yang efisien dan aman digunakan. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan desain menggunakan Autodesk Inventor, simulasi kekuatan rangka dengan analisis displacement, von Mises stress, dan safety factor, serta uji kinerja alat. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan nilai displacement sebesar 0,202089 mm, von Mises stress maksimum 15,7023 MPa, serta safety factor minimum 13,1828. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa rangka mesin sangat aman dan mampu menahan beban operasional. Mesin pencuci piring otomatis ini mampu membantu efisiensi waktu, tenaga kerja, dan penggunaan air pada usaha katering.
