Abstract

Pisang, nama latin musap Paradise ini adalah jenis buah tropis yang sangat umum. Terutama diwilayah Indonesia. Di Jawa, kapasitas produksi tahunan di daerah Madura adalah sekitar 180.153 ton. Ada aneka buah pisang sering di sajikan dalam bentuk keripik. Pada penelitian pertama penggoreng keripik pisang semi otomatis yang menggunakan kompor gas. Proses pemanas terlalu lama dan kurang stabil. Utuk mngatasi hal tersebut, Penulis merancang wajan dengan menggunakan pemanas elemen/heater menggunakan sumber daya listrik, Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dari perancangan model elemen pemanas pada penggoreng keripik pisang kapasitas 4 kg, dapat di simpulkan bahwa elemen panjang 262,5 cm diameter 10 mm. Dengan suhu maksimal mencapai 150-173 °C. Elemen pemanas yang di pakai dalam perancangan ini sangat memungkinkan energi yang di butuhkan.
