Abstract
Kerupuk merupakan makanan ringan populer di Indonesia dan beberapa negara lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang mesin perajang lontongan kerupuk dengan kapasitas 90 kg/jam, serta menentukan daya motor dan komponen sistem transmisi untuk mencegah kesalahan konstruksi saat mesin beroperasi. Fokus utama adalah analisis kebutuhan daya motor listrik berdasarkan perhitungan gaya dan torsi. Piringan pemotong memiliki diameter 350 mm, massa 3,5 kg, dan menghasilkan torsi sebesar 0,787 Nm dengan gaya potong 4,50 N. Kecepatan putaran ditetapkan sebesar 375 rpm atau 39,27 rad/s. Total momen inersia sistem yang mencakup piringan, poros, dan pulley adalah 0,0577 kg·m². Torsi total mencapai 8,27 Nm, dan daya mekanis yang dibutuhkan sebesar 335,5 watt atau 0,44 HP. Hasil menunjukkan mesin dapat beroperasi efisien menggunakan motor listrik berdaya kecil, sehingga cocok untuk industri rumahan maupun skala menengah.
