Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memproduksi tempe terbesar di seluruh dunia. Tempe didefinisikan sebagai salah satu makanan khas yang berasal dari indonesia yang secara turun menurut telah diwariskan oleh masyarakat sebagai makanan akan tinggi protein dan gizi. Usaha pembuatan tempe di Indonesia banyak dilaksanakan di industri rumahan. Proses pembuatan tempe dimulai dari perendaman biji kedelai, perebusan awal, penggilingan, pencucian, pengayakan, peredaman lanjutan, perebusan lanjutan, penirisan, peragian, dan terakhir pengemasan, dalam perancangan kali ini tertuju pada pembuatan mesin pemisah kulit ari dan terfokuskan pada bagian rangka, rangka yang dibuat berbahan material baja ASTM-36 dengan dimensi 75x40x65x50 yang berhasil didesain sesuai perencanaan dan berhasi menopang beban dengan total 266,56 N dan dapat dipastikan bahwa rangka ini kontruksinya sudah aman dan siap dioperasikan menjadi mesin produksi massal dana skala rumahan.
