Abstract

Di Indonesia banyak terdapat pembangunan perumahan, kos-kosan, bahkan rumah yang biasa. Disetiap pembangunan rumah membutuhkan roster untuk ventilasi udara maka dari itu banyak industri pencetak roster. Industri roster ada yang sudah menjadi PT ada juga yang belum. Karena permintaan pesanan yang semakin meningkat industri rumahan kewalahan memproduksi dikarenakan masih menggunakan metode lama dengan sistem gebluk yang membutuhkan tenaga besar dan waktu yang terbilang lama. Dari permasalahan tersebut, penulis mencoba menggali dan mengobservasi para industri roster terhadap apa saja permasalahan yang ada di industri roster rumahan. Dari permasalahan yang ada di industri roster penulis mencoba merancang mesin pengepres roster yang bertujuan agar menunjang perekonomian industri roster rumahan yang lebih mudah dengan efiensi waktu. Penulis mencoba merancang mesin menggunakan plat besi dan besi hollow sebagai rangka sekaligus pengepres yang ketebalannya 2 mm sampai 5 mm. Mesin pencetak roster ini menggunakan pres dengan sistem pengungkit yang sekali proses menghasilkan satu buah roster dengan waktu 3 menit.
