Abstract
Developing an interesting games with more flexible moves without so many rules to obey for children is essential to build a healthy and normal children. Sepak takraw has unique moves which may seem difficult and attractive, but it can be mastered by practice it step by step and continuously. Sepak takraw needs special abilities such as fondling, heading, and smashing the ball. The modification of basket net Is an effort to make a change with some adaptations in both physical tools or equipments and in goals and methods. Developing method used in this research is adapted from Borg and Gall with the steps as follow: try out, expert validation and evaluation. It is an appropriate method to develop a product. The result of this developing basketnet research with major try pit showed that 6 students were "very appropriate" with 76-100 % achievement. 16 students were found "appropriate" with 56-75 % achievement. Meanwhile, 2 students were found "quite appropriate" with only 0-39% achievement. The product of this research is a guide book about speak takraw basket net. It can be used to modifythe speak takraw games, especially for children in elementary school.
