Abstract

Muhammad Agus Sahal Mustofa - Analisa Konsumsi Daya Mesin Tempa Besi Otomatis Kata Kunci - analisa daya,pande besi,efisiensi daya Industri pandai besi merupakan usaha pertukangan besi, dimana industri ini pada awalnya hanya membuat senjata tradisional saja. Seiring dengan berjalanya waktu, perkembangan pembuatan pandai besi ini mulai merubah bentuk usahanya dengan mengembangkan pembuatan pandai besinya dengan berbagai jenis seperti, pisau sembelih, pisau dapur, tajak dan lain sebagainya. Didalam penempaan besi terdapat kalangan UMKM yang masih menggunakan cara tradisional yaitu penempaan secara manual. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui kebutuhan daya yang diperlukan pada mesin tempa besi otomatis. Dari hasil analisa dan perhitungan mesin tempa besi otomatis, perhitungan torsi diperoleh hasil 6.306 Nm dan gaya 78.4 newton. Perhitungan kecepatan putaran diperoleh hasil 280 Rpm, perhitungan kecepatan sudut diperoleh hasil 29.3 rad/s. Perhitungan momen inersia total diperoleh hasil 0.041316 kgm2 perhitungan torsi sebelum dibebani 1.210 Nm, perhitungan torsi mesin sesudah dibebani 5.096 Nm dan perhitungan daya mesin yang dibutuhkan yaitu 0,336 Hp atau 250.32 Watt. Perhitungan efisiensi dari mesin diperoleh nilai 67,2 % yang berarti efisiensi dari mesin tempa besi otomatis tergolong bagus.
