Abstract
Tanaman nanas merupakan tananan yang mengandung banyak vitamin. Nanas sering dijadikan buah konsumsi. Selain dijadikan buah konsumsi nanas juga sering dijadikan bahan makanan. Tujuan dari pembuatan alat pemotong ini adalah mempermudah dalam memotong nanas pada pebuatan selai nanas. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan dan pengujian mesin pemotong nanas pada pembuatan selai nanas kapasitas 15 buah / menit. Dengan bahan stenless stell yang memiliki ketebalan 0,8 mm dan berbentuk plus (+) yang memiliki panjang 64mm dan lebar 10mm , mata pisau memiliki sudut 90˚ serta lubang pipa 65mm. Pada proses pemotongan nanas dalam pembuatan selai nanas mata pisau berkerja dengan baik dan menghasilkan potongan nanas yang sempurna.
