Abstract

Tanaman kacang tanah telah lama dibudidayakan di Indonesia dikarenakan letak gografis yang cocok untuk membudidayakan kacang – kacangan. Kacang tanah dapat menjadi sumber alternatif protein nabati, bahan baku industri pangan, selain itu juga memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi sehingga banyak yang menjadikan kacang tanah sebagai olahan pangan, selain bahan pangan juga sebagai bahan industri. Proses pengupasan kulit kacang tanah diberbagai daerah masih masih banyak yang menggunakan proses manual di era yang modern ini, yaitu dengan menggunakan tangan dan produktivitas dari olahan kacang tanah ini tentu masih bisa ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk menghemat waktu dan tenaga dalam proses pengupasan kulit kacang tanah.
