Abstract
Ketersedianan bahan bakar fosil semakin hari semakin menipis, sementara kebutuhan energi manusia dalam bentuk bahan energi semakin meningkat. Hal ini persediaan minyak bumi semakin menipis yang diakibatkan penggunaan kendaraan untuk transportasi. Faktor yang paling penting adalah sistem penggerak yang digunakan pada mobil listrik prototipe ini menggunakan motor listrik tipe brushless dengan speksifikasi daya 500watt dan tegangan baterai 48volt. Hasil dari pengujian pertama dengan beban 76,5 kg dengan nilai (v = 6,3 m/s dan a= 0,2m/s2), Dengan beban 86,5 Kg (v = 5,2 m/s dan a= 0,2 m/s2), dengan beban 96,5 kg (v =4,1 m/s dan a 0,13 m/s2). Hasil pengujian ini dilakukan dengan menempuh jarak sejauh 150 m, sedangkan daya yang digunakan pada motor listrik 0,928 HP.
