However, many students still experience difficulties in mastering vocabulary, particularly in the aspects of form, meaning, and use. To address this problem, teachers need to implement interactive learning media that can increase students' engagement and motivation. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the students' vocabulary mastery before and after the implementation of Wordwall media and to determine whether Wordwall media had a significant effect on the vocabulary mastery of the eighth-grade students at SMP Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri. This study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one- group pre-test–post-test design. The participants were 25 students of Class eight grade at SMP Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research instrument was a vocabulary test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions covering the aspects of form, meaning, and use. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test with IBM SPSS Statistics version 27. The findings showed that the students' mean score increased from 79.60 in the pre-test to 86.40 in the post-test after the implementation of Wordwall media. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was employed. The statistical analysis produced an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.035, which was lower than the significance level of 0.05, indicating that the improvement in students' vocabulary mastery was statistically significant. In conclusion, Wordwall media had a significant positive effect on the vocabulary mastery of the eighth-grade students at SMP Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri. The implementation of the Anagram and Picture Matching features helped students improve their understanding of vocabulary form and meaning while creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Therefore, Wordwall can be considered an effective digital learning medium for teaching English vocabulary.
