Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil dari desain pembelajaran pada materi sistem indera melalui model pembelajaran Think Pair dan Share (TPS). Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru di peroleh bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan pada saat mempelajari materi sistem indera karena banyak menyajikan gambar morfologi dan struktur alat indera. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan design research tipe validation study, yang terdiri dari tahap preparing for theexperiment, experimentin the classroom (pilot experiment & Teaching experiment),dan retrospective. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah wawancara,observasi,lembar kerja siswa.Aktivitas pembelajaran terdiri atas:tahap Think siswa diinstruksikan untuk mencari informasi pada referensi untuk mengerjakan soal secara mandiri. Pada tahap pair siswa secara berpasangan untuk mendiskusikan hasil jawaban,sedangkan pada tahap share siswa mempresentasikan didepan kelas. Penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa desain pembelajaran yang mengintergrasikan materi sistem indra menggunakan TPS dapat membantu siswa memahami materi ini.
