Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan dari gramatur terhadap proses pembuatan kertas. Penelitian ini penting karena gramatur atau tebal berpengaruh kualitas kertas. Hal ini dikarenakan kualitas merupaka kunci utama produksi agar dipercaya konsumen. Data adalah data primer pada saat proses pembuatan kertas. Gramatur awal 125 gsm dan kecepatan awal 290 menit. Kemudia dilakukan pengujian perhitungan gramatur dan kecepatan yang menentukan kualitas kertas. Seperti berapa gramatur yang di perlukan untuk produksi kertas. Hasil yang didapat semakin tinggi (tebal) gramatur semakin lambat kecepatan untuk produksi pada kertas dan jika semakin rendah (tipis) gramatur kecepatan mesin akan semakin cepat , tapi akan berpengaruh pada hasil produksi
