Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi kinerja blade crescent pada mesin grain dryer serbaguna berkapasitas 50 kg guna meningkatkan efektivitas proses pengeringan gabah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research And Development (RND) dengan tahapan perancangan, simulasi menggunakan SolidWorks Simulation, pembuatan, pengujian, dan evaluasi produk. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengamati perubahan kadar air gabah, waktu pengeringan, konsumsi bahan bakar LPG, serta kinerja struktur blade. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa blade crescent tiga bilah mampu mendistribusikan panas dan mengaduk gabah secara lebih merata sehingga kadar air gabah turun dari 35,3% menjadi 14%.
