Abstract
Burung Merpati balap menjadi populer di Indonesia, karena bernilai tinggi dan mampu bersaing dalam ajang perlombaan. Namun, proses penetasan telur masih dilakukan secara konvensional, walaupun telah dikembangkan inkubator semi otomatis berbasis Arduino, pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan masih secara manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan model prototyping, yang memungkinkan pengembangan sistem secara literatif, melalui tahap perancangan, pengujian, evaluasi, dan penyempurnaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemantau dan pengatur suhu otomatis pada penetas telur merpati berhasil dirancang dan berfungsi dengan baik. Perangkat keras dan lunak terintegrasi mampu membaca suhu dan kelembapan secara real-time, menampilkan LCD dan aplikasi serta mengatur suhu otomatis. Rata-rata inkubasi tercapai 37,68°C dalam rentang optimal 36-38°C, sehingga mendukung stabilitas proses penetasan. Secara keseluruhan, alat ini layak digunakan dan efektif membantu meningkatkan keberhasilan penetasan telur merpati balap.
